Medical Director
Dr. Natalie Gutierrez joined Eureka Animal Clinic as Medical Director in May 2023. Dr. Gutierrez has worked in the veterinary world since 2002, working nearly every role from bather and boarding assistant to receptionist and technician, and began working as a veterinarian in small animal general practice in 2011. She began her education as an undergraduate at Florida International University in her native Miami. She then earned her veterinary degree at St. Matthew’s University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at Purdue University Veterinary Hospital in Indiana. Her areas of interest include small animal behavior, geriatric medicine, and hospice care, and she also holds a Masters in Business Administration. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and travelling both within the U.S. and abroad. Dr. Gutierrez enjoys the company of a chihuahua named Chico and a Doberman mix named Dexter (pictured), and would like to have a pet pig someday!
